burlap box (from coffee bags & old fabric)

Time to make friends with your local barista...these bags are great for rustic storage for toys, shoes, even pantry items such as potatoes!

Here are some great tips on how to cut burlap.

For my potato box (pictured above), I forgoed the liner and I hand-stitched the boxes- as I didn't have a sewing machine at the time- which was pretty quick. I would recommend a liner (you can use fabric from old shirts) and using cardboard pieces between the burlap and liner to help stabilize the box, especially for larger storage boxes.
