Fall in love with loose-leaf tea
All you need is a tea ball or sieve, simply steep tea for 3 - 5 minutes...
Some of my favourite combinations are:
> lemon (slice), ginger (grated/sliced) & mint (fresh leaves)
> orange (peel), cinnamon (stick) & star anise (whole)
> lime (slice), lemon (slice) & ginger (grated/sliced)
> apple (slice/pieces), cardamom (pods) & cinnamon (stick)
> lemon myrtle & apple
> cinnamon (stick), cardamom (pods) & ginger (grated/sliced)
> lime (slice), lemongrass (dried or fresh) & ginger (grated/sliced)
Here are some tea ingredients to stock up on so you can create your own tea every day.
apple slices (fresh or dried)
cardamom (pods)
cinnamon (sticks)
ginger (grated/sliced)
lemon myrtle
lemon slice (fresh or frozen)
lemongrass (dried or fresh)
lime slice (fresh or frozen)
mint leaves (dried or fresh
nutmeg (whole- slices)
orange peel (fresh or frozen)
star anise (whole)
stevia (whole fresh leaves or dried leaves) - natural sweetner
am i missing any tea ingredients you love to use? i'd love to hear about them!
