Photo holder (from fence post)

I had a lot of photos I wanted around the house but not enough shelf space to accommodate a dozen frames. I saw a multiple photo holder at a shop but it was too polished for my taste...so i made a couple instead.
What you need:
- old wood: an old fence post found on an abandoned lot worked for me. For a more polished look you'll want to find cleaner wood and sand it down before painting
- spray paint (optional)
- Jigsaw
- wire: I had crafting wire amongst my supplies but if you have needle-nose pliers and wire cutters, old wire coat hangers could work
- hot glue gun or wood glue

1. Cut out your letters: I chose to cut them individually and then glue them together in a staggered look, but you could cut out the entire word, it would require some creative lettering and skilled sawing.
2. Paint your letters if you would like (natural wooden look is nice).
3. Glue together using wood glue (hot glue wasn't strong enough for my heavy wood).
3. Cut wire to desired height and curl one end into 1-2 small circles (in which to slide the photos). Make one wire per photo; glue onto back of word using hot glue.
Smaller photos allow you to display more, but I used photos I already had printed so kept mine to 3-4 photos per holder.
Happy crafting!
