Almond Cashew butter
nut butter to replace that sugar and salt-filled store-bought peanut butter...
- 1/4 cup cashews and 3/4 cup almonds
(or 1 cup nuts of your choice)
- 3-5 tbsp coconut oil

Grind up nuts with coconut oil, blend until smooth. Add more oil as needed to ensure mixture is not dry so that nut will grind properly; this will depend on the nuts you use as some are naturally more oily (walnuts, cashews) than others (almonds). Store in airtight container for two weeks (three in fridge). Yields approximately 300g- stores perfectly in an empty coconut oil jar ;)
